Tiffany, I adore you and boy have we had fun times at The Affiliate Ball, AFFY Expo, Lead Generation World, and so many other performance marketing trade shows and events! You have been an incredible figure and connector in the performance marketing industry and do it with such style and grace!  For those that don't know you, can you give some background into your career history, how you got into what you do, what you have worked on, and where you are now?

Thank you, Debra! Your kind words mean a lot to me! I cherish our friendship, which has grown over the years, and I treasure all the wonderful memories we've created together at industry events. My journey began in 2008 when I joined Video Professor, an e-commerce company specializing in CD-ROM lessons for Microsoft Word, Microsoft Windows, and eBay, using a continuity model for product sales. I was immediately captivated by the potential of the industry. Driven by my fascination with affiliate marketing, I made a transition into the role of an Affiliate Manager, dedicating several years of my career to work at the agency, Adperio as well as a few other reputable agencies and networks. As I gained valuable experience in various verticals and marketing channels and cultivated a solid professional network, I found myself achieving remarkable success in a business development role. Currently, I am engaged in consulting work primarily focusing on publisher recruitment and referrals.

What type of people are you looking to connect with and what can you help them achieve?

Think of me as a “Marketing Matchmaker" I can help marketers connect with brands to promote their products and services. I have a diverse portfolio of projects I am working on right now, one of my main focuses involves publisher recruitment within the travel and hospitality vertical. Simultaneously, I am proactively seeking networking opportunities and partnerships with affiliates and advertisers in the lead generation space.

Everyone knows what an incredible professional you are but tell us a bit more about you as a person.
I am a single mom raising two teenage daughters, and they keep me very busy! As a Denver native, it might be surprising that I don't ski or snowboard; my preference has always been the beach over the mountains. I plan to relocate someday to be closer to the coast. I absolutely love wine; it’s one of my love languages. My dream trip is to go on a wine tour on the French Riviera, where I can taste the best wines and enjoy the beautiful scenery. My relationship with God holds significant importance to me, and I am continuously committed to walking in faith and having compassion and kindness in all aspects of my life.

Share a favorite quote of yours and why.

I have a lot of favorite quotes! But this is one of my favorites: " If you don't like where you are, move. You are not a tree. " This serves as a valuable reminder that you have the power to leave any environment or situation that doesn't bring you peace and happiness. You can change your circumstances and take charge of your life. I strongly encourage living outside your comfort zone, taking risks, and never settling for anything less than what truly fulfills you. Life is too short to be unhappy and miserable, so embrace change and pursue genuine happiness.

What are some fun memories you have from various trade shows and events you have been involved with and what advice would you give to others attending company trade shows?
Over the years, I've created so many wonderful memories from various industry shows. Each event holds its own special moments and unique experiences. Beyond professional networking, these gatherings also provide a platform to develop personal connections and get to know each other on a deeper level. After all the meetings have taken place, and exhibit halls are closed, the fun really begins! The Affiliate Ball has always been one of my favorite events! Darren always puts on an epic show with the best celebrity performances! I also am really looking forward to this year's Affy Awards Gala!

How do you approach building and maintaining business relationships? What are some effective techniques you've used to secure long-term partnerships?

While the common advice is to keep business and personal matters separate, I have personally discovered that blending the two can be a positive approach. Some of my best friends come from vendors or partners I worked with 10+ years ago. Even though we may not always have ongoing business collaborations, we have remained connected and supported each other throughout the years. We continue to guide one another in the right direction, make valuable introductions, and provide referrals. These long-lasting relationships have proven invaluable, extending beyond business and enriching our personal and professional lives.

How do you maintain a work-life balance while managing a demanding career? What strategies do you employ to prevent burnout and prioritize self-care?
Work-life balance is important to me and remains my biggest priority. Being a people pleaser, it took me quite a while to master the art of saying no and not feeling guilty about it. However, I've come to recognize that setting boundaries and prioritizing my well-being is essential for maintaining a healthy and fulfilling life. As a parent, there are certain events in my kids' lives that I can't miss. Work can be demanding, but effective task prioritization and time management help me handle it all.

What always puts a smile on your face?
My ultimate happiness lies in seeing my kids happy! They are my why and who I do it for.

What are your future goals and aspirations? How do you plan to continue growing and making an impact?
In the short term, my focus will be on expanding my consulting business and staying adaptable to the dynamic industry landscape. The ever-evolving nature of digital marketing keeps me excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. I recognize the importance of challenging myself beyond my comfort zone and would like to take on more leadership and mentorship roles. Although public speaking makes me uncomfortable, I'm determined to face this fear by becoming a guest speaker at a conference panel. That type of experience will lead to personal and professional growth, creating new opportunities for development and impact.

Do you have resources or goodies you can share with the group?
Networking is crucial! I can't emphasize enough the significance and value of building relationships. Your network is your net worth. There are plenty of resourceful groups that I am a part of on LinkedIn and Facebook and that I can recommend. Ensure that you attend conferences and as many networking events as possible. Building your presence and trust among people is essential.
